Our Spanish Beginners 4 (A1.4) course is the final step to completing the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At Anna Language Academy, we’ll help you tie everything together so you can speak with more confidence and finally say: “¡Sí, hablo un poco de español!” (and actually mean it). Whether you're learning for travel, work, or just to impress your Spanish-speaking friends, this course focuses on real-life communication, not just textbook drills. You’ll continue developing your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills—plus pick up more cultural insights along the way. In this course, you’ll learn to: - Use quantifiers to express amounts more precisely - Talk about location using prepositions and adverbs of place - Dive into the pretérito perfecto—your first past tense, at last! - Express abilities with saber/poder + infinitive You’ll also talk about: - Describing places and what we love most about them - Giving directions and helping someone get to a location - Sharing past experiences - Talking about skills and abilities - Describing people’s strengths and flaws with more nuance Classes are practical, dynamic, and communicative—we focus on speaking and understanding the language in real-life situations, while also building your reading, writing, and listening skills.
