I’m Anna, a passionate language teacher from the vibrant city of Barcelona, with roots in Girona and cherished memories of living in Copenhagen 🇩🇰 I’m the founder and enthusiast behind Anna Language Academy, where I share the joy of learning Spanish and Catalan with adult learners.
Since October 2024, I’ve been teaching Spanish classes in Leiden, welcoming students of all levels to a warm and gezellig ✨ learning community.
My teaching career began over a decade ago as an elementary school teacher until I decided to move to The Netherlands 🇳🇱 After several years teaching Spanish at Utrecht University, I launched my own academy to bring a more personalized and engaging methodology to language learning 📚
At the heart of my teaching is a communicative approach, fostering a safe, cozy ✨ and supportive atmosphere where you’ll gain the confidence to speak with native speakers💬 One of the things that my courses offer is the focus on individual support 👥 Small group sizes ensure personalized attention and a dynamic space where real-world communication thrives 🌍 It allows me to give each student the guidance they need to succeed and feel confident in their language-learning journey 👣
In my classes connection, fun, and a safe environment are key. I encourage students to participate, make mistakes, and grow from them—because that’s how true language learning happens! 🌱💪

Terms and conditions

1. Enrollment
Enrollment in a course is final once the registration form has been completed and submitted, and payment has been received.
2. Payment
The full course fee must be paid before the first class, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Cancellation
If cancellation occurs up to 7 days before the course starts, a full refund will be given. For later cancellations, no refund is possible unless due to force majeure.
4. Missed Lessons
Missed lessons are non-refundable. If possible, an alternative class may be offered, but this is not guaranteed.
5. Cancellation by the Academy
Anna Language Academy reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the full course fee will be refunded.
6. Liability
Anna Language Academy is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during classes or events.
