We’ll focus on pronunciation and phonetics, and you'll soon be able to introduce yourself, say hello and goodbye without panicking, and maybe even impress a Spanish-speaking friend or two. Here’s what you’ll master along the way: - The Spanish alphabet and pronunciation - Greetings and farewells - A few useful numbers (don’t worry, no math involved!) - Gender of nouns (yes, objects can be masculine or feminine!) - The verbs ser, llamarse, and tener - Personal subject pronouns - Talking about nationalities, professions, and workplaces - Definite and indefinite articles - Present tense conjugation of regular verbs - First steps with por, para, and porque - How to talk about languages - And of course—leisure activities, because life isn’t all grammar Classes combine speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong cultural component to help you connect the language to real-life situations.
